
Born and raised in Cameroon, Clementine E Burnley now lives and works between Scotland and Germany. She earned her joint B.A. (Hons.) in Media Studies and Literature (Glasgow, Scotland) and M.Sc. in Computational Linguistics, (Manchester, England).
The themes of her work are (re)migration, diasporic kinship, collective trauma, and collective resilience. Her art practice has evolved through poetry, audio-visual pieces, stage performance, fiction and essay forms to curating community spaces and relationships.
